Our Process

Every book purchased on our site or at our vending events directly funds the construction and stocking of Free Libraries across marginalized areas in Baltimore City. Together, we are bridging the literacy gap by bringing free, accessible reading resources directly into local neighborhoods that need them most.

Our first free library location has opened in Baltimore City at James E. Hooper House a historic home located at Baltimore, Maryland, United States. It is a large Queen Anne style freestanding masonry structure, situated among the buildings of the Old Goucher College Buildings complex.
